We all have that one friend who often says things that makes us shake our head and sigh, to any one listening, “she said what now?” I am, often that person for my friends. More often than not my loosely fitting filter has served to get me into almost as much trouble as it has gotten me out of. For as long as I can remember the phase “you can’t do that”, especially when followed by “because you are a girl”, has translated in my head as a double dog dare you challenge. Because of that very early on I became fascinated by other women’s stories, and other underdogs, empowered by the “watch me” gene. For years I have been collecting stories about these women. Here is where I will share them.
